Homeschool Hangout has two locations, in Marietta and Alpharetta. They stock over 5000 titles from 150 vendors. They offer curriculum counseling to novice and veteran homeschoolers alike at no charge.
Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historic Site
Atlanta, GA
Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historic Site preserves the childhood home of Martin Luther King. The home is located in the residential section of "Sweet Auburn", the center of black Atlanta. Two blocks west of the home is Ebenezer Baptist Church, the pastorate of Martin's grandfather and father, and the church to which Dr. King returned to co-pastor with his father in 1960.
Jekyll Island

The Georgia Sea Turtle Center was created and is operated by the Jekyll Island Authority as a primary conservation program dedicated to increasing awareness through sea turtle education, rehabilitation, and research programs. The Georgia Sea Turtle Center is an advanced hospital but open to the general public, offering an interactive Exhibit Gallery and Rehabilitation Pavilion with a many sea turtle patients regularly on view for guests. Additionally, indoor and outdoor educational programs are available year-round for guests of all ages.
